These include high draw resistance and lackluster battery life- all at a much higher price tag than similar products. Firefly Vapor has clearly listened to feedback and has addressed all of these concerns in the Firefly 2 Plus (+).

Design of Firefly 2 Plus Vaporizer

In regards to design, the Firefly 2 Plus (+) looks very similar to its predecessor. But, as the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. The original Firefly 2 was already a well-designed product and there were no real complaints there. The main difference in design found in the Firefly 2+ (Plus) is the inclusion of a window. It highlights the product’s new logo. That aside, the design has remained the same.

While the Firefly 2 Plus (+) is far from the smallest portable vaporizer on the market today. It is impressively sleek and slender. This design choice means that the device fits in your pocket easily enough, something important in regards to portable vaporizers. It is important to remember that this device isn’t as discreet as other portable vaporizers. It is due to its size but is easy enough to palm when using. As an added bonus, it is one of the lightest vaporizers available. So carrying it around won’t feel like a hassle.

The Firefly 2 Plus (+) features touch sensors on either side of the device. While the way these sensors are situated can make holding and using the device feel a bit unnatural, they are very responsive. If you need to take a quick hit on the go, you shouldn’t expect much trouble in the way of these touch sensors.

As a final note on the Firefly 2 Plus (+)’s design, you can choose from a variety of six different colors when selecting your own device. Available in Jet Black, Gold, Black, Blue, Oak, and Zebra Wood, there is a color finish for everyone. Each color is sleek and impressive looking and the Zebra Wood is one of our favorites, featuring a quality wood finish.

The Firefly 2 Plus (+) sought to offer a number of upgrades that ensured improvements on the original’s weaknesses while delivering the same strong performance. With that being said, let’s go in-depth with the new and improved portable vaporizer from Firefly Vapors.

For starters, the device’s on-demand heating feature is one of the fastest (if not the fastest) that we’ve seen on the market today. Most users report and average heat up time of around three seconds. This feature also means that the vaporizer heats up and cools down almost instantly. Not only does this mean that users are granted the additional freedom to vape a single oven at their convenience, it also means that users that prefer to microdose will have a much easier time doing so.

The vaporizer features a dynamic convection heating configuration that produces some of the best dry herb flavor that can be found in portable convection vaporizers. In the original Firefly 2, high drawback resistance was a common complaint and Firefly Vapors has significantly improved the product in their Firefly 2+. With a much lower drawback resistance, the Firefly 2+ makes fully inhaling much easier on the lungs, making for a much more enjoyable experience with the flavorful vapor production.

In regards to battery life, the Firefly 2 Plus (+) has received serious upgrades. The vaporizer’s 770 mAh battery offers an average of sixty-four draws per charge and battery life can be considerably lengthened at a lower temperature setting. Best of all, you can expect a pretty quick recharge with most users reporting a charge time of around 45 minutes on average from dead to fully charged.
