G Pen Elite II is a vaporizer for ground material. It is an excellent update over the G Pen Elite. Markedly, the device has a sleek and portable design. The superb feature of the magnetic mouthpiece allows for easy detachment and attachment. Moreover, it comes with a fine zipper travel case made of hemp, with the G Pen logo on it.
Inside the Box
G Pen Elite II comes in a simple yet beautiful box. Inside the box you are going to receive the Elite II itself, 1 Hemp travel case, a silicone sleeve for the device, 1 USB-C charging cable, a pick tool and a user manual. Furthermore, the pick tool is located at the bottom of the device. The vaporizer is already placed inside the hemp travel case in the box. Keep in mind that this vaporizer is only for ground materials.
Magnetic Zirconia Mouthpiece
The G Pen Elite II comes with a magnetic zirconia mouthpiece and a durable zinc alloy casing. It has a superior built quality which provides an excellent vaping experience. The mouth piece is scratch resistant and could be easily cleaned. You can easily remove and attach it. This magnetic mouthpiece is an excellent update as compared to the previous version i-e G Pen Elite.
How G Pen Elite II works?
As with many other devices, it is highly recommended to fully charge the device before first use. The charging port is on the bottom of the battery. Once the LED on the front of the device changes from red to green, your device fully charges. Remove the mouthpiece and load the ceramic chamber with ground materials. The chamber can easily hold up-to 0.5 grams of ground material. The pick tool located at the bottom of the device, can also assist in packing down your material into the chamber. Keep in mind that you should not pack too tightly. Replace the mouthpiece on the heating chamber.
Single degree/10 degrees Temperature Adjustment
Hold the power button down for three seconds to switch on the device. Press the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to select the desired temperature of the session. Long presses will adjust temperature intervals of 10 degrees while short presses adjust temperature by single degree. The temperature range of G Pen Elite II is 200 – 430 degrees Fahrenheit or 93 – 221 degrees Celsius.
Patented Clean Air Intake and Spiral Ceramic Vapor Cooler system
This device has a patented clean air intake pathway that further improves the vapor quality and prevents the air from flowing through electronic parts of the device. Spiral ceramic vapor cooler is a unique feature of G Pen Elite II, which extends the air path for cooler draws.
Starting the Session
Double click the power button to begin the session. Double click again at any time to cancel the session. When the front LED changes from blue to green during heat-up and reaches the desired temperature, it vibrates and displays the precise temperature on the back side of the device. Draw from the mouthpiece and enjoy. You can decrease or increase your desired temperature during a session.
Automatic Standby Mode Switching in G Pen Elite II
If the device does not detect a draw for one minute, it will automatically cancel the session and go back into standby mode. When the device detects a draw, the LED on the front turns yellow for the duration of the draw. In order to restart the session simply double click the power button. The device will automatically shut off after one minute of inactivity.
Follow-up Session
Use the pick tool to clear vaporized material from the chamber or to gently stir your already baked material and go for a follow-up session depending on your personal preference.
Dual Heater System
This vaporizer comes with a dual heater system i-e convection and conduction. Individually controllable convection and conduction heating system allows you to get the most out of your ground material and enables better vapor production.
Silicone Sleeve
The Elite II also comes with a silicone sleeve for extra comfort and protection. To apply the silicone sleeve, hold it in one hand with its open side facing up, place the mouthpiece end fully into the sleeve then pull the base of the silicone sleeve out over the bottom of the device. Then fold the mouthpiece end of the sleeve over the mouthpiece.
Various Settings Menu in G Pen Elite II
To further customize your device’s performance, press the power button 5 times to enter the setting menu. Toggle through the device settings options using the plus and minus buttons and press the power button to select. Elite II settings menu contain the options of convection boost, session timer, haptic feedback, brightness, Fahrenheit/Celsius selection, firmware details exit option.
Convection Boost
Convection boost can be turned on or off. When turned on, the convection heating element is activated while the device is drawn upon, delivering faster and more efficient vapor production. When turned off, vapor production comes through conduction only via the full ceramic heating chamber.
Sessions Timer Option
Session timer options include 30 seconds and 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 minutes’ options. The timer begins once the preset temperature is reached.
Haptic Feedback in G Pen Elite II
Toggle to turn haptic feedback on or off. This feature of the device provides feedback to the user through vibration, for sensory notification or the moments when the display has been turned off.
High-Resolution TFT Display, Temperature unit selection and WiFi Connectivity
The G Pen II has a high resolution TFT display, showing the device status in full colors. Inside the setting menu, toggle to select between brightness settings on the display. You can also choose temperature unit in Fahrenheit or Celsius. You can view hardware and firmware version as well as the serial number of the device. Finally select exit to leave settings menu. The device will automatically exit the menu page and return to the home screen after 10 seconds of inactivity. It does have a WiFi connectivity option for firmware and usage tracking.
Battery and Recharging in G Pen Elite II
The Elite II is powered by 2100 mAh battery which roughly last about sixty minutes of continuous use. Recharging obviously depends on usage. It charges through a USB-C port at the bottom of the unit. It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the device.
